About ‘DATEJUST PUFFER EDITION’ by Victor Weijers

Datejust Puffer Edition is a playful yet sophisticated reinterpretation of one of the most iconic watches ever designed. Completely transforming the classic Rolex Datejust into a padded, soft sculpture creates a work that exudes both luxury and lightness. The signature shapes - the round bezel, the elegant strap structure and the recognisable dial - have been retained, but fully executed in a deep purple puffer texture. This creates an intriguing tension between precision and softness, between timekeeping and tactility.

The watch looks more like a couture accessory or a surreal fashion object than a timepiece. The soft seams follow classic contours, making the design look simultaneously familiar and utterly imaginative. The absence of glass, metal and mechanics reduces the Datejust to pure form - a study in recognition, humour and design.

Datejust Puffer Edition invites the viewer to reconsider the meaning of functionality. Time no longer plays a role; it is the object itself that takes centre stage, as a gentle celebration of design icons in an alternative reality where couture meets comfort.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
