Monumental grandeur of the Den Bosch railway station. View between the escalators to one of the platforms of the nostalgic station. The station clock indicates 12 minutes past 5pm and a waiting train is waiting for the passengers. We see part of a stately platform roof that dates from the year 1896. This part of the old station has been integrated by architect Rob Steenhuis in the design of the fourth station that was opened in 1998. The escalators connect the old part with the new part c.q. the passage that forms the station hall. This Passerelle is also a frequently used walking route between the nearby Palace Quarter and the city centre.
