The Erasmus Bridge, Zalmhaven Tower and Noordereiland photographed from Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam. Opened in 2022, the Zalmhaven Tower is the tallest building in the Netherlands. In the background, quite a lot of clouds are moving away. The photo was taken in the so-called blue hour; the hour after sunset, so the warm city lights contrast nicely against the blue sky. By using a long shutter speed, the water of the Meuse is nicely smoothed and there is movement in the sky. All the buildings are, of course, razor-sharp.
Travel and landscape photography from over the world. Wide-angle landscapes, scarlet sunsets and panoramic city vistas inspire me. My style is characterized by intense colors and a high dynamic range.
