On one of the coldest winter days I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, I decided to go in search of my ultimate fairy tale: a fox in the snow. It was blowing so mercilessly hard, however, that walking backwards was the only way forward, as the freezing blizzard took away my vision. Sneaky little snowflakes crept into my clothes, my camera and my eyes and slowly but surely literally everything was covered in a thick, white layer of snow. The difference between left and right and even top and bottom seemed to disappear. My camera became so cold and wet that I could barely operate it and so did my fingers. And very, very briefly I wondered if this was a good plan.
The answer was obvious. Because in front of me was a beautiful, smiling fox in the snow. It was as if I had entered a timeless fairy tale, where only the fox, the snow and I existed. Cold hands, warm heart....
