Mushrooms come in all colors, shapes and sizes.
They are the real flowers of autumn and provide color in the forest.
I like them at their best by photographing them at very close range creating a (macro) world. The background becomes nicely blurred resulting in a dreamlike effect. I also let the light determine the mood and warmth of the photo and this usually results in a beautiful and soft bokeh which makes the subject stand out even more.
