South Africa is home to the hartebeest. This name was given to the animal by farmers, who thought it resembled a deer. But it is an antelope that lives on the grassy plains in (South) Africa.
This handsome one wanted to look over her shoulder before walking on. She is pregnant and therefore extra careful. She lives in Botlierskop Private Game Reserve.
