What a fantastic experience to be able to see the Helmcken Falls. Unbelievable many liters of water that fall more than a hundred meters down into the depths. An endless stream of water wrapped in the mist. Very good to see how well these natural wonders are protected in British Columbia.
Helmcken Falls is a 141 m (463 ft) waterfall on the Murtle River within Wells Gray Provincial Park in Britisch Columbia , Canada. The protection of Helmcken Falls was one of the reasons for the creation of Wells Gray Provincial Park in 1939.
Helmcken Falls is the fourth highest waterfall in Canada.
