Here on the North Sea island of Amrum you will find pure nature. Kilometres of naturally formed beach with sand like something out of an egg timer. New or modified dunes with delicate beach grass and brightly coloured marram grass are created here every year, as the Kniepsand is always in motion.
The beach invites you to take long walks along the North Sea. Fortunately, the island can only accommodate a limited number of holidaymakers and, apart from the "hot spots", the island is not overcrowded.
The photo was taken on a stretch of beach near Norddorf. A quiet, romantic spot with a beach chair all to yourself. It conveys a pure holiday feeling in the midst of magnificent nature and beach scenery.
