About ‘Little Robin’ by Karen Kaspar

'Little Robin' is a square-format acrylic painting. A small, fluffy robin sits on a twig, looking to the left. The abstract background glows in vibrant shades of pink. The inspiration for this painting was a little robin that visited our bird feeder in the garden during winter. As it was a very cold day, it had fluffed up its feathers…

Original created by Karen Kaspar.

I have been a passionate artist since childhood. I work in traditional painting techniques such as watercolour, acrylic, pastel and drawing with charcoal, pencil and ink. For me, inspiration is everywhere around me. My favourite subjects are flowers, animals (especially cats and birds), landscapes and colourful abstract paintings. I love to create pictures with which I can convey joy and happiness to other people.
