About ‘Little Robin’ by Karen Kaspar

'Little Robin' is a square-format acrylic painting. A small, fluffy robin sits on a twig, looking to the left. The abstract background glows in vibrant shades of pink. The inspiration for this painting was a little robin that visited our bird feeder in the garden during winter. As it was a very cold day, it had fluffed up its feathers and looked like a little ball.
The two paintings, Little Robin and Little Robin Number Two (image code 1147865), go together perfectly and make a great pair. It is best to hang the two paintings side by side.

For me, inspiration is everywhere around me. My favourite subjects are flowers, animals (especially cats and birds), landscapes and colourful abstract paintings. I love to create pictures with which I can convey joy and happiness to other people.
