"Morning at the Eiffel Tower" - an appropriated work inspired by the work of Jean Béraud. A beautiful contemporary artwork with a unique composition.
The Eiffel Tower (French: la tour Eiffel) is a monument in Paris and one of France's best known and most visited landmarks. It stands on the left bank of the Seine in the 7th arrondissement of Paris.
The Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris and is considered by many to be one of the Non-classical Wonders of the World. The tower received more than six million visitors annually between 2011 and 2017, making it the most visited monument in the world for which a ticket must be purchased. On November 28, 2002, the Eiffel Tower welcomed its 200 millionth guest.
Designed by engineers Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier, two associates of Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built on the occasion of the 1889 World's Fair in Paris.
On the first platform there is an exhibition about the Eiffel Tower with photos, paintings and information. It is possible to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower by elevator (the stairs are not publicly accessible above the second platform). Information panels indicate which buildings can be seen from the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel Tower is 317 meters high to the top of the flagpole, not counting the television antennas. With the DAB+ antennas installed on March 15, 2022, the tower is 330 meters high. Depending on the ambient temperature, the tower can change in height by 15 cm due to the expansion or contraction of the metal.[4] The tower has four legs; platforms are located at different levels. The tower weighs 7300 tons (excluding the foundation). After its construction, the Eiffel Tower was the world's tallest tower and it remained the tallest tower in Europe, apart from television towers, for 126 years.
