Poppy in the wind

by Nadia Feys

The poppy takes centre stage in this work - its delicate, velvety petals gently unfold in the light of the sun. Behind her, a deep, pure blue tones the clear sky like a still ocean: a calm, almost meditative background that accentuates the vibrancy of the flower. The sun's rays - subtly present - hit the flower from the side, creating a delicate play of light and shadow, with the petals' veins lighting up and appearing to breathe like veins.

The whole breathes serenity: stillness in bloom. The contrasting colours - warm sunlight against cool blue - give the work dynamism without losing its tranquillity. The composition invites deep perception and inner reflection, perfectly fitting in an environment where art is given space to penetrate you.

It combines natural beauty with a minimalist aesthetic.
The blue background enhances feelings of peace and space in your interior.
The light play between sunlight and flower gives a subtle depth that reveals new details every time.
