About the artwork

Short-eared owls are beautiful birds to see anyway. It is when they sit down in front of you that you really see how beautiful they are. In my shelter tent, I had been watching a couple of these birds for hours when suddenly one decided to sunbathe on the grass in front of me. The warm light of the winter sun did the rest. They are real wanderers because wherever there is food they go. Even if they have to come from far away suddenly you have short-eared owls everywhere. It suddenly seems that the species would not be so bad after all but don't be deceived please they are. All the more reason to be careful about opportunities to capture them. If there is a field mouse infestation you are bound to have short-eared owls around. Also fun to go looking for yourself it seems to me. It's very strange but once an image is on the want you never want to lose it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
