Maike Simon is no slouch. She studied Fashion Management, Journalism, Photography and American Politics and Economics. During her studies she toiled with a radio set for ex-PvdA leader Wouter Bos, and covered the election of Obama and Trump from Washington and New York. As a journalist she sometimes traveled far afield for weekly Elsevier and other magazines, but also stayed in Brabant for Brabants Dagblad. Wrote a book for publisher SNOR about photographing your children (Mamarazzi). By the way, never travels without a camera. Her favorite subject to photograph is Mediterranean life.
