About ‘Sulphur Heads’ by Paul van Gaalen, natuurfotograaf

These mushrooms are often found on tree stumps and the dead roots of deciduous trees. They grow in dense clusters. You’ll see these mushrooms all over the forest, particularly in autumn. Their colour changes from yellow through olive to purplish-brown.
