Early alarm clock and then quietly enjoying a sunrise on the Markermeer near Hoorn. It was first a beautiful play of colours before the sun rose and then the sun carefully peeped above the horizon.
With a slower shutter speed, I tried to create tranquillity in the photo, the water surface then flattens out a bit and you can see the movement.

Hi, nice of you to come and take a look. My name is Eefje John and I live in the small village of Oudendijk, which is at once a beautiful environment for photography. Meadows, cows, windmills, tree-lined avenues and all kinds of other beautiful scenes can be found here in the area.
In 2021, I started photography, especially landscape photography. I find my peace in nature, walking along the meadows or the forest. I also find it incredibly satisfying to come home with a successful photo after a beautiful morning. I most like mornings with a little mist and the sun just rising, that's really enjoyable!
