The Moerputtenbrug in 's-Hertogenbosch The Moerputtenbrug, also known as Moerputtspoorbrug, was a railway bridge in North Brabant across the peat lake "Lange Putten" in the later Moerputten nature reserve. It was part of the Langestraat railway line. Since the turn of the century, the bridge has become a pedestrian bridge that is part of "Het halve Zolenpad".
I like the photogenic spot and enjoy coming there. The bridge creates a nice play of lines, I like the perspective. Usually I am of the morning photography but I also wanted to see the bridge around sunset. The sky coloured beautifully here again and every time I am there, it is different... Next to the bridge, it is a somewhat marshy area. There are also a lot of geese flying around you when you are taking photos there. Furthermore, it is also a nice walking route and then you imagine yourself abroad when you walk over the wooden decking through the swamp part. This bridge is also very popular with wedding photographers. I can understand that.
