The Place Between – Serene autumn landscape with woodland and reflection

The Place Between is an atmospheric landscape where a deep, ancient woodland and still water come together. The gentle reflection of the woodland in the lake creates an almost dreamlike second world.

Dark trees, warm brown and beige autumn colours, and subtle shades of white blend seamlessly together. The last leaves still cling to the trees, whilst others already lie on the forest floor. The still water enhances the natural atmosphere and lends the scene extra depth.

This artwork exudes the tranquillity of a crisp autumn morning in the countryside. A place where you need do nothing for a while, where time slows down and where all you need to do is look.

Hi! I'm Karin.

Photographer for over 13 years, started as a portrait photographer and now since 2018 I focus completely on taking nature photos.
Put me in a forest and I'm happy, during my walks with my dog I tried to look around me very mindfull and by standing still and paying attention to the small details, I noticed how beautiful the light can fall on the small textures in nature. This is what I started to photograph.
