I based this abstract work on a scene I recently saw in Antwerp.
In the diamond district there you see people completely dressed in black with a briefcase wndelen. Nothing special, you might say, but suddenly I see a big man walking in the rain. The water was pouring down; I was soaked but the man was holding his own. He was holding a small umbrella. He probably took his daughter's umbrella with him.
