The wood anemone is a beautiful little plant with a relatively large flower. They belong to the steppe plants and are visible in early spring. They are especially common near estates and castles. With sunlight the flower opens and they are beautiful, in shade the flower remains closed. This one was photographed in the early morning near a roadside ditch.
