The most beautiful rice terraces in Bali are located at Jatiluwih. Unesco has not placed these rice terraces on the World Heritage list for nothing. That's good: by placing on the world heritage list Jatiluwih has a protected status.
The rice fields of Jatiluwih are 600 hectares in size. They are situated against the slope of the Gunung Batukaru - the second highest volcano in Bali. The cascading rice fields are a feast for the eyes. More and more people are finding their way to the Jatiluwih rice terraces.
