White Quince Flower - Three white quince flowers with speckled green foliage behind them. The white quince blossoms are the most delicate of the 3 varieties we have. Whenever we get a Spring frost they will get rust spots on them. It is a delight when I get a pristine flower to photograph. The white quince has tiny almost pumpkin looking kind of fruit. They are not really usable to make any thing out of them. It's already well into April and only now I was able to get this amazing macro photograph.
The day I photographed the white quince flower we are having a sunny, cool Spring day. Our 15 week old puppy has discovered the outside and now knows how to use the bells at the backdoor to let us know she wants to go outside. So off we go and my trusty camera ready to capture the beauty of nature.
Macro photographs need some extra loving care due to the closeness of the subject every little flaw will show up in the picture. I have to zoom in to inspect every part of the image before it will be fit for my art connoisseurs.
Please enjoy your journey through my gallery. I hope one of my works will honor your space. Thank you Iris
