About ‘seagull’ by anne droogsma

Seagull is a Canadian guitar brand, specialising primarily in steel-string and 12-string guitars. The brand has been in existence since 1982 and was founded by Robert Godin in La Patrie, Quebec. The brand focuses on crafting handmade guitars in the mid-range price bracket (€500 to €1,000).

Without exception, Seagull guitars feature a one-piece top (known as a solid top), crafted from locally sourced wood such as spruce or cedar. The back and sides of the basic models are made from cherry wood, also sourced from Canada, whilst the more expensive models use mahogany, maple or rosewood. The neck is made from Honduran mahogany or local maple. A popular model is the S6, which is used by, amongst others, the Belgian musician Milow. The English singer-songwriter James Blunt is another well-known Seagull enthusiast and has appeared in the brand’s advertisements since 2006.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
