I took this picture in autumn in a forest in the Highlands of Scotland. A small stream lined with ferns flowed through the forest. By choosing a long shutter speed of 30 seconds, the stream faded while the ferns and boulders remained razor-sharp in focus.
I have been involved in photography from an early age, and at the age of 20 I was allowed to exhibit my work for the first time. After many doubts, I ultimately did not make photography my profession, but I always continued to take photographs.
