About Acharya Fotografie
For me, photography means far more than simply capturing a beautiful moment. It is a way of perceiving the world more consciously. Photography slows things down and allows you to pause; it demands attention, patience and an eye for detail. For me, therefore, it is a form of mindfulness. When I take photographs, there is only the moment – nothing before it and nothing after.
Whether it’s the loyal gaze of a dog, the first light of day, a warm sunset, the delicate wings of a butterfly or the grace of a horse – every moment tells its own story. Most of them last just the blink of an eye.
My greatest passion is animals. They have been a part of my life for many years – both professionally and privately. I’m fascinated not only by dogs, horses and cats, but also by wildlife, birds, macro photography and landscapes. Often, it’s the little things that are overlooked in everyday life – a drop of dew, the texture of a feather, the light on a flower or the delicate patterns on an insect. The camera reveals this hidden beauty.
