For me, photography is about carefully capturing what is already there, not creating something that was never there. I work from observation, calmness and timing, with a strong focus on light, composition and atmosphere. My images are created on location and captured as cleanly as technically possible.
In post-processing, I consciously limit myself to subtle adjustments in Lightroom. No image manipulation, no excess, but refinement. This brings out details, contrast and colours as I experienced them at the time. The final result always remains true to reality, with room for interpretation by the viewer.
My work moves mainly within landscapes and environments in which tranquillity, space and scale play an important role. Images that do not scream for attention, but rather linger. Photography that fits into interiors where balance and simplicity are key.
