About Bibidesign

My name is Bianca Werkhoven / Bibidesign.nl.
Ever since I was little, I have been painting and drawing everything I see or being creative in other ways. Especially when I experiment and something beautiful comes into being, it gives me a lot of energy.
I have been painting for many years now. I love working on canvas with deep inspiring colours. Often warm colours that speak and sparkle. I mainly work with acrylic paint, but I also make regular trips to pastel crayons or charcoal. My works are difficult to describe, but warm, intense, powerful, dynamic and energetic are terms that fit my paintings. Do not expect landscapes or still lifes from me, I prefer to express my expressiveness in beautiful flowers, faces, animals or abstract representations.
I also like to use other materials in my paintings. Like textiles, sand but you will also come across jute in some of my paintings.
My inspiration comes from nature, interesting people I have met or sometimes just from a good conversation.
The size of my work varies from canvases of 50 by 50 cm for somewhat smaller spaces to canvases of, say, 150 by 150 cm for larger walls.
