About Blue Lemon Studio

Hi, I'm Shona, a Taiwanese illustrator behind Blue Lemon Studio.
My journey into pattern design began with the streets of Taiwan. Growing up, I was surrounded by the ornate iron window grilles and colourful tiles that decorate old Taiwanese homes: flowers, swirls and geometric shapes repeating quietly across walls, balconies and doorways. They were everyday things, but to me they were little works of art.
One day I started drawing them, and I haven't stopped since. Those repeating shapes taught me how a single motif can grow into a whole world, and that's what I try to create in every pattern I make: something playful, warm and full of small details to discover.
I hope my work brings a little of that joy to your home.
