Hi, I'm Wim. Behind BowiScapes lie two passions: travel photography and painting.
It started with my camera—old, faded analog photos from travels through places like Australia and New Zealand. Later, painting came along, and with it a new freedom: from recognizable landscapes to pure abstraction, where color and composition tell the story.
By combining these worlds and interweaving textures layer by layer with digital techniques, I create wall art you won't find anywhere else. From raw Urban Art and tranquil landscapes to dynamic abstract work and figurative world maps. Thanks to my high-quality digital post-processing, even the smallest brushstrokes and film grain remain sharp, even in large formats.
