The canvas as a mirror of the soul. My paintings are created intuitively. I only decide in advance whether it will be a mandala or a free painting. What then emerges in the process often surprises even me.
The colours, shapes and symbols always have their own unique energy. No interpretation is needed – only the effect on the viewer. I was born and raised in northern Germany, but now I live and paint in Stuttgart. I was fortunate enough to spend several years in Canada and Australia, where I was deeply moved by the nature and art of the indigenous peoples.
