Eckhard Berger, born in 1951 in Brake/Unterweser, lives and works there
as an artist for over 50 years.
He studied art at the University of Oldenburg, in museums, galleries and
studios.
His main focus is landscape and sailing imagery on canvases
and sheets of paper with painterly and graphic means, supplemented with sprays,
pastes and the finest everyday materials.
The style so typical of him with abstract and implied realistic
elements and the rainbow sun and rainbow linearity has become his special
