She developed her love for animals and photography as a child. She has no brothers or sisters and grew up in the Achterhoek, surrounded by animals and nature. She was often dependent on herself, liked to observe the behaviour of animals and found peace in nature. She wanted to capture these observations and share them with others, that's why she started photographing. When she met her boyfriend, she discovered her great interest in travelling and discovering other nature and culture. She and her boyfriend have a common interest in travel and photography, so they often go out with the camera and try to take each other to the next level.
