I've been interested in photography since I was a child and I've been taking pictures since my youth, not only when travelling but also experimentally. With the advent of digital photography, I started to explore this topic more intensively. I bought my first SLR camera in 2016. I then used photography as a kind of therapy to overcome a serious illness. During this time, I deepened my knowledge of photography on a self-taught basis and my first successes became visible. This motivated me to continue working on it and I have been a member of fotocommunity.de since 2017.
Concentrating on motifs and engaging with them intensively has a meditative effect and allows you to see the world with different eyes than you are used to. Perception changes and is sharpened by the trained eye. Photography is also a journey to yourself. For me, photography is like a remedy, but not just exclusively for the photographer. The photographer's philosophy becomes visible in the photos and has an individual effect on the viewer. I am driven by the need to show people my point of view with the help of photographs. The effect of a photo can change the way people think and act. I also like to experiment in order to show new perspectives.
