Fantasising about little people who fit in my pocket and were my friends. Dreaming about swimming among the fish underwater and being allowed to go along to their shell houses. Even now, I still like to dream away, absorbed in colours, looking for transparency and light."
I come from Friesland where the skies are amazing, where there is space and the light is bright. I love colour and simplicity. That makes me happy and I want to bring that out in my art.
