Guido Lourenzo Boogert, born in 1993 is a Photographer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He started taking pictures as a little kid during holidays with his parents. When he decided to go for a long solotrip to Latin America in 2017 he became totally addicted to the frame. After his trip he started studying at the Photoacademy in Amsterdam, where he still studies besides being a freelance Photographer. His focus lies on (event) reportage and documentary Photography. The most important part for him is that he believes that besides creating awareness, photographers can inspire people to act ‘good’ in terms of social- and sustainable responsibility, in order to achieve this, he cooperates with different social companies and non-profits who do invest in a better world. In addition to his work for clients, he also creates a lot of autonomous work like (long term) documentaries and more conceptual images and series, both on film and digital.
