About Igniferae
Welcome to the wonderful world of Igniferae, where creativity is boundless and inspiration flows from every corner of life. My name is Jetske Roosendaal, the enthusiastic image-maker behind this digital journey.
My artistic journey starts with my father, he was a passionate (interior) architect and painter, who instilled in me a love of colours and shapes. As a child, I was always surrounded and engaged in creativity, from drawing, painting and modelling to coming up with creative solutions.
After years of silence, my creative fire came back to life, and I discovered the magic of digital art. Inspiration constantly bubbles up with me, from images and phrases to subjects. Everything happens very intuitively. My work embraces an extensive diversity of themes and styles.
My goal? Simple yet epic: I want to make things that not only make you happy, but also make you wonder, amaze and inspire. Whether it puts a smile on your face, offers aesthetic spectacle, makes you think or explodes your creativity - my art simply has to be a contribution for you!
Igniferae (pronunciation; Iniferaai) consists of 2 Latin words Ignis (fire) and Ferae (wild, untamed). 'Ignis' symbolises my rekindled creative fire, freedom and renewal. 'Ferae' symbolises my untamed, wild nature of creativity and expression.
