My journey into art began in my childhood, shaped by my grandmother, a passionate watercolour artist who ignited the first creative sparks within me. This early fascination stayed with me right through to my school days, where I gained an important insight whilst taking the advanced art course: art knows no fixed rules. It is boundless, diverse and is allowed to be exactly as it is.

After studying architecture and starting a family, my creative work took a back seat for a while. Everyday life took over, and art was somewhat forgotten.

But in my search for what defines me at my very core and brings me peace, I found my way back to painting.
