I’m Sajith, a traveller with a camera who’s been at home in the Netherlands for years. Wherever I go, I look for that one moment when a place falls silent for a moment.
I’ve been taking photographs on my travels since 2011: mist-shrouded lakes in Norway, limestone mountains in Vietnam, ancient streets in Italy and the Scottish Highlands after a rain shower. And time and again, I find myself drawn back to the Dutch polders, windmills and tulip fields bathed in spring light.
I’m not looking for spectacle, but for that quiet moment you almost miss. I hope my photos give you the same feeling at home as they do for me: a chance to catch your breath, to be somewhere else for a moment, and yet still at home.
