I am Leonie, living in the province of Utrecht.
Photography has always been in my blood, although I didn't really do much with it as a child (unfortunately), but my father has always been a passionate photographer and I think I got that a little bit.. ;-)
In 2019 I went out with a buddy for the first time to go photographing in nature. This was fantastic!
Walking in nature is overwhelming, there is always something beautiful to see.
Nature has so many beauties that we just race past in our busy daily lives.
The peace, the silence, the birds whistling, roaring red deer, chattering antlers, the sound of the wings of wild swans beating on the water when they leave, the view, the colors, the seasons..
The more often you are in nature, the more you will see and also appreciate. The Netherlands (and beyond) have so many beautiful natural treasures!
I soon discovered that wildlife photography appeals to me the most. As a big animal lover, I find it fantastic to be able to spot and photograph wild animals big and small. Especially if you need a lot of luck or have had to put in a lot of effort, then it is even more fun if you also have a cool photo to show for it!
And so there is a beautiful story behind every photo, a memory!
