Lonely Art was founded by me and is part of GRiP design & consultancy. GRiP is an interior and exterior design agency that uses 3D designs and renders to provide clients with advice. During the design phase of an interior, you soon arrive at a wall that you want to provide with a suitable work of art. Finding the right work of art to complement the interior is often more difficult than expected.
That is why I started designing my own wall art. The goal was to create art that gives a statement to your interior. The images should be versatile and give class. Most of the work is monochrome but very distinct and can really pop out of the wall using a coloured frame.
For the most dramatic effect with monochrome art pieces, a matt finish combined with a coloured frame is a plus. The pieces look best when printed large. Better to have one big statement on the wall than several small ones.
