As a child, I was already busy with my camera looking for anomalous images .
Photography has always maintained my interest throughout my life.
My fascination with images also extended to my children's sports to capture them along the sports fields sitting on a stool in front of my camera's eye.
Training at the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam was a logical step in my development as a photographer.
I like to be inspired by my surroundings, always looking for a unique image. My work can best be described as free and associative, and I strive to stimulate the viewer's imagination with my images.
"Imaginative Realism " is the common thread of my work.
An example of this is my series "Textures". A depiction of unique shapes located below the waterline of ships. I hope to stimulate the viewer's imagination and make him or herself imagine what he or she thinks he or she is seeing.
