I am Manfred Rautenberg – a digital artist with a particular passion for maritime motifs. For many years, I have enthusiastically dedicated myself to the creative design of compositions using modern digital art tools. Born in 1947 and raised on the North Sea coast, the coast has always been a defining part of my life. I studied at a technical university, which continues to shape my enthusiasm for technology-based image creation. This combination of artistic vision and technological openness lends my work a unique character. With my art, I strive to convey contemplative tranquility and invite the viewer to discover their own meanings within the quiet, open pictorial spaces.
Concept: My series of images arise from conceptual ideas that reflect perception and inner states in maritime environments. Harbor impressions, coastal landscapes, beach scenes, the Wadden Sea, and sailboat compositions form the core of my portfolio, complemented by abstract structures. The works oscillate between photographic precision and a painterly, graphic feel. The focus is on an unconventional, often surreal and poetic interpretation of reality – minimalist and atmospheric. The aim is to create art, with the support of generative AI, that is aesthetically powerful and evokes emotional resonance.
