THE FASCINATION OF HOW IT WORKS! Having trained as an all-round photographer, I have been a full-time professional photographer for 35 years. Since its inception, the corporate and public sector has been my field of work. That's where I still find the rich variety of subjects that pique my interest. The fascination of how things are produced and the technique with the person behind it inspire me every day.
Producing beautiful images from a non-common view that makes my clients happy gives me the satisfaction. Trying to add added value to the images through image manipulation, giving them a timeless character that makes them stand out from others, is something I am always working on. PIA D'Or prize Marc Schols' working method was awarded the PIA D'Or prize for best professional photographer in the Netherlands in 2011. The PIA D'or prize is a prestigious award is cooperation with Professional Imaging and the professional organisations BFN, SVFN, DIPP and Colour Art Photo.
