Having grown up in Interlaken, I have always savoured every moment spent in the natural surroundings of the Bernese Oberland. Whether in hiking boots, on a snowboard, bike, ice skates, skis or snowshoes, the main thing is to be outdoors.
My photography begins where civilisation is still asleep or turns a blind eye. As an adventurer in solitude, I seek the silence of the Alpine peaks. When the air is bitingly cold and the world below me still lies in shadow, I wait for that one fleeting moment when the light changes everything. My images are a record of these silent triumphs over time – captured to bring a piece of this untouched freedom into your home.
