About Marina Kozyr
Marina Kozyr is a contemporary European artist working in oil and acrylic.
Her practice explores painting as an emotional space rather than a depiction of places or objects. Drawing on her background in interior design, she developed a deep understanding of how light, color, and spatial relationships influence human perception and inner states.
In her work, flowers, seascapes, landscapes, and abstract compositions are not subjects in themselves, but entry points into atmosphere and memory. Each painting is built through layered color and subtle tonal transitions, creating a sense of stillness and emotional resonance.
Rather than illustrating nature, Marina Kozyr translates visual impressions into immersive spaces that invite quiet contemplation. Her paintings are intended to exist not only as images, but as presences that subtly shape the environment around them.
At the core of her practice is a simple question: how can a painted space change the way we feel?
