The word creativity is mostly associated with 'tinkering' and 'hobbyistic pastime'. According to some, without a use, or non-essential. To me, art is the spice of life. To me creativity is essential and I see it as a gift. Fantasy, imagination and the power of creating make us special.
All my life I have felt an urge to create. To translating a story inside me to the outside world, with use of words and images. I do this with many media: from pen drawings, to oil or acrylic paintings and digital art.
I found my voice in my intuitive drawings. These come about without me having any idea of the outcome. I start from a feeling and let my intuition lead the way. Gradually, through colours and shapes, that feeling is depicted. Sometimes the end result is more abstract than the other, and that doesn't matter. That leaves room for the viewer's emotions.
I draw inspiration from nature, from feelings and music, from geometry and symbols. I offer these intuitive drawings as art prints. I am also available for commissioned designs and original works.
