My name is Niels Punter. Born in May 1992 and raised in the Frisian village of Bakkeveen. In my childhood nature played an important role in my life. Most of the time I was outside, climbing trees and observing all the birds and animals around me. With a father who was fascinated by nature and a photographer, and a mother who was a creative painter, these two values were passed on to me. Since then, the love of nature has played an important role in my life.
In my teens, I ventured into my father's camera. Playfully, I observed and photographed birds, animals, plants, insects and landscapes. It was 2017 when I realized that I wanted to do something with my creativity and my love for nature. From then on, I started dedicating my life to capturing the beauty of nature. As a photographer, this is how I try to inspire people and make them aware of the beauty and fragility of nature.
