Hi, I’m Olga, a Dutch photographer who works with light, atmosphere and emotion, whatever the subject. Whether it’s nature, portraits, still lifes or more abstract work, my images always focus on how light transforms a scene and gives it meaning.
What fascinates me is not just what you see, but above all what you feel when you look a little longer. I seek out moments where simplicity transforms into something layered—where contrast, colour and silence come together to tell a story. Sometimes it’s a fleeting detail in nature, sometimes a human gesture, sometimes an almost abstract interplay of form and shadow.
My work moves between the documentary and the artistic. I work intuitively, but with an eye for composition and tension. In doing so, I leave room for chance: the unexpected in light or movement is often precisely what gives an image its character.
As a creator, I am constantly engaged in the act of looking—slowing down, selecting and reducing to the essence. It is not the subject that takes centre stage, but the experience it evokes.
In my shop you will find images that differ in subject but share the same underlying qualities: tranquillity, intensity and a strong visual atmosphere. Works that not only show something, but also imbue a space with a feeling.
