Creativity is in my blood, ever since my childhood, more than 10 years after the war, when resources were scarce. Despite the hard times and emotional scars of my parents, I always found joy, in drawing and crafting. Although I would have liked to study art later, circumstances prevented me from doing so.
Over the years, I took many courses, including lessons from Dore Mulder, Johan Lanting and Hetty Steyger, which gave me a solid foundation in various art techniques and art forms.
Now I create colourful, spontaneous and abstract works of art, often inspired by people and nature. Each work usually arises spontaneously and gives me great viewing pleasure, and I like to share that feeling with others. Through Werk aan de Muur, you have the chance to take my art into your home and experience that experience yourself. Whether you like vibrant colours or surprising textures, there is always something special to discover. Feel free to take a look at my site and get inspired and maybe your next favourite piece of mine will soon be hanging on your wall!
