After years of working as an artist and teacher I got more time to take up photography again. Only two years ago I bought a system camera, after all kinds of peregrinations with compact cameras that eventually didn't satisfy me. Now I photograph with my Panasonic GX9 and several lenses to full satisfaction. For me, the advantage of the camera and lenses is that my bag is not as heavy as it used to be, but there is much more in it. At home every picture I find worthwhile goes first into Lightroom and then into Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, but then a newer version than in 2001! My monitor is now the darkroom, but I have a lot in common with the time when I developed and printed photos myself.
