Rudolf Pelzl, born in Munich, lives and works there.
In his spare time he has been passionately on the move with his camera for years.
Initially his interest was in classical landscape photography.
Growing up in the big city, but with a penchant for nature, he was attracted by numerous trips abroad to places that have not been explored, far away from the well-known tourist destinations. As a father, his travel options were limited. So he turned his focus to projects in his immediate vicinity and in recent years began to look for urban opportunities for rest and retreat. And to his surprise he found surprisingly many.
Even in well-kept city parks he discovered places where nature is left to itself.
They are oases in the big city, surrounded by noise and hectic, yet still removed from it. Rudolf Pelzl finds other worlds without travelling.
